June 1st to June 7th

Meet with professor(s), mentors and employers.

A good letter of recommendation is important. Identify and seek out individuals that can provide strong recommendations about you and your character.

Your goal is to find the right people that can provide the best recommendations for you.

Make sure you do this early on since it may take time for these professor(s), mentor and/or employers to prepare the Letter of Recommendation(s).

June 21st to June 30th

Follow up.

Be respectful of people’s time but make sure you follow up to ensure you will receive your letter in a timely manner.

Your goal is to periodically check-in with those you have requested your Letter of Recommendation from.

June 21st to June 30th

Receive your Letters of Recommendation and make copies.

You will need 3 x 10 copies (sealed)

Your goal is to have copies of your letters ready to go!

Wrap Up

I’m sure all your letters of recommendation were awesome and will really help decision makers know more about the real you. Now it’s time to focus on getting your transcripts out!
