Graduate – Transcripts

June 15th to June 21st

Meet with University/College Administration.

Meet with the administration to determine the requirements.

Your goal is to make sure you understand the process and what is required by the school by a specific date.

June 15th to June 21st

Request transcripts.

The universities you apply to will need your Undergrad (Bachelor’s level) transcripts. Some universities may request your high school/secondary school (typically grades 9th to 12th) transcripts as well.

Your goal is to ensure the right transcripts are requested.

June 21st to July 15th

Follow up on your transcripts.

Were the transcripts sent by your college/secondary school? Make sure that your school representative understands the timing required by the university and ask if there is anything else you can do to help.

Quite likely, your college/school may hand over the transcripts to you in sealed envelopes rather than sending them out directly.

Your goal is to make sure your college/school transcripts have been sent to the universities.

July 15th to July 31st

Ensure University has received your transcripts.

Contact the registrar at the University to ensure that they have received your transcripts.

Your goal is to make sure the University has everything they need to make their decision.

Wrap Up

Transcripts sent… check that one off the list. Now let’s see about those test scores!

Having my transcripts sent was easy. I just followed the directions from my high school and the university. I had to check in a few times with each of them but it was all handled quickly and properly.
