While you may have many people willing to provide you with a Letter of Recommendation, be courteous and know that they are likely swamped. A strong Letter of Recommendation can go a long way, so start asking for these as soon as possible.
Identify candidates to write your recommendation, ask and follow up and then select 3 to make copies from!

Follow up.
Be respectful of people’s time but make sure you follow up to ensure you will receive your letter in a timely manner.
Your goal is to periodically check-in with those you have requested your Letter of Recommendation from.
Grammatical mistakes and typos in your documents could cost you your ideal university. Check with your school to see what services they offer for reviewing such documents.
