Hello! Sir, I am from Bangladesh, and my visa interview is on December 15, 2023. I initially chose to study hospitality and tourism management in BA, but I ended up enrolling in a college for sociology after completing high school. If the visa officer asks me about the two-year gap and why I don’t want to continue my education in sociology, what should I say?

      Hi Rayhan,

The Visa Officers want to hear your long-term plan and how your US studies fit into it. Don’t try to draw attention to the gap, but if the question arises, you should be prepared to explain how your original plans changed and how sociology doesn’t fit into your new plan.

We need to learn more about your background to guide you through this. We work with you to create a personalized narrative in F1 Visa Prep Services. Check it out at Expert Services.page
